Fifteen years since the Man-Eater devoured her people, and Shira the Cycanian had grown into a fearsome and powerful huntress; a proud predator of the Conifer Barrens, and beloved daughter of the Demityrannai. Deep within the forests of the great Conifer Barrens, where the woods teemed with all forms of life, from gigantic, two-legged carnivorous Dinosaurs, to dog-sized, forest-dwelling herbivores. There, browsing along a forest trail, was a lone dome-headed Pachyosaur. This was was an adolescent male that had wandered off too far from his to forage on his own. The Dinosaur’s mind was so fixated on the delicious vegetation that he had not noticed, nor sensed the presence of the predator watching from from the trees above.
